Sitting in a computer lab in Seoul Women's University.
No, I dind't sneak away to make this post or something.  Everyone but Paraka and Kim are here since those two are in a meeting, so we're killing time here until they're finished up.  Then heading on over to the shopping market.  Yet more clothes and all kinds of stuff I've no intrest in.  But he said that there's a more standard market down the block, so I'll head on over to that one instead.  I don't think I'll actually be BUYING anything, but windwo shopping can be fun.
It's sad that hte computers here can't even keep up with my typing speed.  That and coupled with the slightly diffrent layout of the korean keyboard, makes for some fun typos lol
The presentation we sat through was "Is Korea's family style modern or not?' (basically)
I'd never heard of it before, but apparently it's fairly common for there to be Wild Geese families.  Where the wife and kid(s) go off to Austrailia, New Zealand, Canada or the US to let the kids grow up in English speaking places, while the husband stays home to work in Korea
There's the 'Eagle father' which flys over to visit the family a few times a year
and the 'Penquien father' which is too poor to fly
Apparently the families that do it believe that getting a jump on english is SUUUUUPER important to their kid's futures, and to avoid the 'pressure cooker' education system in Korea.  Dunno.
So we toured around for a while.. aaaand out of time now.
"Joey" came back to pick us up.  And off to go 'shopping"
