Just got back to the hotel after the official send-off dinner for the Cobb delegates.
The dinner was really good. They had two things I never thought I'd miss so much: bread (which had some kind of..cheese?butter? chunks in it) and... a brownine! topped with icecream! =O
Not exactly the 'merican food I was really hoping for (a sandwich) but it'll work.
um.. um.. something I was going to talk about..
...ah.....
Eh, while I try to rmember, I'll pay my bills (which is another thing I had to remember)
Anyway, one thing I'm worried about is... where the hell am I supposed to pack away all these gifts? We've gotten so many things.. I'll probably have to tape up a big bag and carry it on with me.
Wooden Korean masks, pens, CDs, calander-notepad, chopsticks..
Sheesh.
Anyway, while my energy was waning all day, I at least managed not to fall asleep during any of the events. That's a plus!
And tomorrow we gp tp two universities to present things.. and thankfully I can just wear jeans.
Yay.
OH, and I mentioned at the dinner tonight how I planned to do my grad work there in Korea, so now I've got two offers of intrest from Hongu and the one we're going to in the morning. cool beans.
wow, the trucks braking outside sound like whales.... intersting..
So, the snow came down pretty good for a while, but it let up, only leaving a light powder over the cars and sidewalks.
it's 11:40 now.. this thing has been sitting here for so long I have NO idea what I was going to talk about...
oh well

Maybe you should have suggested that it's not necessary for them to give you a gift every time they see you. And then refused the gifts. That probably would have gone over very well.
